The New York Law Enforcement Foundation was founded in 1995 by Reginald Ward, retired Deputy Police Commissioner, Mount Vernon, New York, Police Department.
The Foundation supports city, state and federal law enforcement departments and their members by providing equipment to departments, as well as scholarships and financial support to these members and their families. The Foundation also honors members of law enforcement with awards, recognizing them for their service and courage.
WE ARE A 501(c)(3) NOT FOR PROFIT FOUNDATION
The New York Law Enforcement Foundation Board of Directors is composed of men and women of various race, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. We are concerned business and civic leaders who believe in the strong support for law enforcement. Our mission is to provide support and recognition to city, state, and federal law enforcement departments, officials, and their families.
The Board is also pleased to have honorary directors, who are current, former, and retired city, state and federal judges, commissioners, chiefs, directors and agents. Our Board also consists of chairpersons of law enforcement boards, clergy, and attorneys providing guidance and support to the Foundation.
Our mission is to support various law enforcement entities, and we need your help to continue our efforts. We would be incredibly grateful if you would consider donating to the NYLEF.
